Jamaica State Park is a wonderfully peaceful place to take a leisurely walk along the West River, enjoy the refreshing swimming hole, picnic near the river, camp in the beautiful campground, or for the more energetic, hike to Hamilton Falls - a 125 foot waterfall! There is a modern playground for children and a picnic pavilion that can accommodate as many as 50 people. Visit the Nature Center which abounds with artifacts of local history as well as educational displays.
Walk around Jamaica Village, where you will find more than a dozen, unique, locally owned and operated shops, galleries, inns, restaurants, on Main Street alone. Jamaica is truly a special place you wont want to miss!
